I bought the HB Red Rose Pair. The male was dead on arrival but was sooooo gorgeous. Contacted Sam and showed pictures of him inside the bag and got an immediate refund.
I didn’t just give a 5 star because of that but I was a bit taken back by the look of all the females. They were very skinny and I thought they were sick. I didn’t contact them because they were very active and didnt seem sick. I just thought maybe they had JUST given birth to fry and that’s why they were so skinny. They were all pale looking but I know that was transportation stress too. Only one out of the 4 purple ivory’s looks a bit different than the others. She hasn’t grown much and her gills look weird but it’s not the first I’ve ever encountered. I didn’t make a big deal of it because there are 3 more just like her except quite a bit more healthy. I had a BIG order. Overall satisfaction! I’ll be purchasing my guppies from BuyGuppy especially since we are in the same state and only 1.5 hours away.
On a different note though. I purchased this big order before I had noticed some of my guppies were acting sick. Then they started dying slowly. I found out the issue and treated them for two weeks until a second bacterial issue happened so i did a complete mini recycle yesterday. When my fish came in I could only put them in my 10 gallon fry tank and move the babies out. They will soon be housed in their very own big tank very soon.
